Lilly loves pockets and hats! And when her and daddy aren't dressing alike, we try to.
Not sure what these are
The bridge before the iced area
This is created by sprinkler type hoses spraying in certain areas. They also have lights for the night.
I guess this is equivalent to the U.S. porta-potty. It smelled much better though.
Saturday we took a trip to North Daegu to another mountain, Mt. Palgongsan, where a popular Buddhist temple is located. Ramon is taking a World Religions class and needed to attend a service not of his own religion. We found a tour guide that spoke English and she explained a lot of the worshiping and statues we saw. There were numerous monks walking around and we even got to have a traditional Korean meal which did not include any animal, seafood or spicy food! (YES!! and it was actually good!) Once again I am in awe of how different the culture is here. Lilly and I were sitting outside waiting for Ramon and a lady came up to Lilly and gave her a pastry. On our way out from lunch, a girl about 6 years old came up to Lilly and was touching her face and smiling at her. When her dad and younger brother came out, they had suckers and the girl took it from her brother and gave it to Lilly. It's so different, because we just don't experience that in the U.S. Unfortunately, I didn't get the interaction with my camera.

The information center gave Lilly a strawberry reusable bag.
Lanterns along the walkway.
A drum made of Ox skin: the sound of the beating is to echo the sound of Buddha's teachings.
Stairway of 108 steps to represent the 108 feelings people have.

This is the Medicinal Buddha, as distinguished by his fingers and what is in his palm.
Lilly is not impressed with Buddha.

Another one of Lilly's favorites... crossing her arms!
She enjoys putting her babies in the carseat. I guess she is practicing for when brother comes.
